With timely data collected from Company Registrars, this new feed aims to fill the data void long associated with this area of the market.

Drip programs encourage shareholder loyalty and allow shareholders to build up larger positions over a period of time.

EDI’s feed provides all the necessary fields of information, so that custodians can offer the benefits to their clients. With over 400 DRIP programs currently available (including Investment Trusts) and more being announced every year, EDI expect this area of the market to continue expanding.

The feed will include the following fields of information:

  • Expiration Date (or Last Date for Forms of Election)
  • Registrar Name
  • Dividend Amount
  • Company Name
  • Company Documentation Dispatch Date
  • Sedol
  • Bargain Date
  • ISIN
  • Settlement Date
  • Security Description
  • Date DRIP shares will be lodged with CREST
  • Partial Elections accepted (Y/N) USA/Canada residents’ elections restrictions
  • Cash residue carried forward
  • Reinvestment share price
  • Number of Shares Purchased
  • Cost of Shares Purchased

Delivery: EDI produces a daily feed of all Drip announcements. The feed is sent via e-mail in an Excel Speadsheet. Subsequent updates will also be sent via e-mail as soon as the registrar release them.
