Worldwide Shares Outstanding - Incremental Data Feed
The need for accurate and timely information is essential
for running your business successfully. In today's evolving environment,
Fund Managers and Investment Managers can face severe penalties for
failure to reveal and report significant share holdings. Such predicaments
can be avoided by accessing accurate information on companies' shares
outstanding figures.
Exchange Data International (EDI) has the solution. Now you can access
Worldwide Shares Outstanding (WSO) data through EDI's comprehensive
data feed. Updated on a weekly basis, covering over 150 exchanges, investors
and traders are able to efficiently calculate figures to comply with
exchange regulations or portfolio holding levels.
The new feed has the following component parts:
Security Records
Changes to Basic Security Data (including Shares Outstanding)
Exchange Level Issuer Records
Changes to Company data.
Global Issuer Records
Changes to a standardized global version of the Exchange Level Issuer,
which is linked to the Security Records where appropriate.
Shares Outstanding Changes Records
A changes feed focusing only on Shares Outstanding figure changes
and linked to Security Records.
Lookup Records
All new or changed coded data lookups are passed on in the standard
changes feed. These include Industry Sector, ISO Country and Currency,
Security Type and Exchange.
Portfolio Option
Clients shall be able to select coverage through a Portfolio Option.
The Worldwide feed can be broken down into Client Specific areas,
so that unnecessary Exchanges can be omitted from the feed.
Delivery
This new feed is available for download via FTP.
For full File and Delivery Specifications, please contact EDI.
Exchange Data International will shortly be launching a Web Based Interface
service that incorporates this new feed. This is an upgrade to the existing
successful Worldwide Shares Outstanding Web Service. The new enhanced
version will further benefit its clients and the Investment world as
a whole.
