WVB MASTER is a database containing unparalleled coverage with over 15 years of historical data on more than 14,000 public companies from more than 74 developed and emerging markets, 9000 plus USA companies, including hard-to-find historical information on over 4,000 "extinct" companies. Centered around detailed balance sheets and income statements, with substantial supplementary information also included.
The database contains as-reported and restated data in accordance with local accounting standards, as well as supplemental international accounting and US GAAP information where reported.
The data is arranged in various modules:
Accounts - The complete balance sheet and income statement,
detailed set of original as reported and restated accounts.
Company Address - One or more addresses for the company
(legal, plant and head office).
Company Advisors - Clearing bankers, investment bankers,
auditors, appraisers, stockbrokers, solicitors/lawyers, public relations firms
and others.
Company Persons - Company directors including chairman,
finance director, managing director and corporate secretary.
Major Shareholders - Shareholders (industrial,
institutional and individual) with disclosable holdings and voting rights in the
company at year-end.
Business Segmentation Data - Disclosed business activity of
the company by sales, profit, assets, depreciation, R&D, employee
compensation and capital expenditures.
Geographical Segmentation Data - Data items in geographic
format.
DVFA Earnings - Earnings reconciliation module for German
companies for fiscal years beginning with 1995.
Domestic GAAP to IAS/US GAAP - Earnings reconciliation
between domestic accounting standards to IAS or US GAAP standards for 1995 and
later.
Dividend Summary - Dividend payouts linked to the share
type.
Earnings Summary - Reported and calculated earnings per
share linked to share type.
Calendar of Future Events - Various dates relating to
future annual meetings, earnings releases, dividend payments and others.
Subsidiaries & Associates Companies - Names, countries,
control/ownership, dates and company activity for the parent, subsidiaries and
associated companies.
Shares Outstanding - Annual record of all issued shares and
related instruments as of the fiscal year end.
There are up to 600 data elements per record. Detailed company
profiles include SIC codes, geographic location, major share holders, business
descriptions and more, making search by specific criteria quick and
easy.
Delivery
WVB can provide three fast-delivery methods: WVB Quickview, WVB
Trader and WVB Dossier in both HMLL or CSV formats.
WVB Quickview provides a snapshot of international companies, including
company description, primary SIC codes, senior management and 3 years of
key financial statistics.
WVB Trader provides a snapshot of the companies, including all the above
items but covering a 6 years period. These are designed as quick company
overviews containing company descriptions, key financial data items and ratios.
WVB Dossier includes all the above mentioned items but covering a 10
years period. The financial data contains more detailed and complete
financial statements and ratios.
