EDI collaborates with DataContent

DataContent and Exchange Data International collaborate to enchance each others performance.

London, September 9th, 2002, DataContent is pleased to announce their collaboration with Exchange Data International (EDI), the company specialising in providing original solutions to securities houses’ problems. DataContent is assisting EDI with their sales and marketing drive, in positioning their products and optimising the sources used within those products ensuring they are of the highest quality.

EDI provides back office solutions and securities data to most of the major brokerage houses, custodians and data vendors. With offices in London and New York its mission is to provide flexible, innovative, yet cost-effective desktop solutions to clients’ ever-changing needs.

Several of EDI’s competitors are large corporations constrained by bureaucratic procedures, ‘corporate think’ and out-of-date technology, while EDI remains a lean company with low overheads.

Rafah Hanna, Managing Director of DataContent, says “DataContent is delighted to be involved with Exchange Data in such an integral manner. Our objective is to assist Exchange Data in becoming a premier data source for back office feeds. We see it as vital that market data users have confidence in the data that suppliers provide them with.”

DataContent’s expertise is in the field of market data strategy including the negotiation of data contracts, costs and strategy for financial institutions, vendors and exchanges. They focus not on selling data or software, but in helping their customers succeed in optimally managing their market data operations, thereby meeting their business objectives.

Jonathan Bloch, Managing Director of EDI says: “DataContent have proved their value in past projects and we are confident that this major collaboration will highlight to our customers the high quality of our services and products”.
